Fall sports awards

Fall sports awards were presented to FA’s student-athletes on Tuesday, November 29.

The following athletes were named to the All-State Team:

Varsity Girls Tennis: Anne Douglas Goforth, Mary Gray Johnson

Varsity Girls Field Hockey: Mary Rose Hazel, Meghan Norair

The following athletes were named to the All-State Tournament Team:

Varsity Girls Field Hockey: Catherine Estes, Mary Rose Hazel, Meredith Kohls

Karen Moschetto was named Girls Field Hockey Coach of the Year for the Delaney Athletic Conference, and William Moss was named Girls Tennis Coach of the Year for the conference. The following athletes received All-Conference honors for the Delaney Athletic Conference:

Varsity Cross Country: Devin Holladay, Brooke West, Allison Hansen

Varsity Girls Field Hockey: Meghan Norair (Player of the Year), Sydney Hawkins, Mary Rose Hazel, Catherine Estes, Imani Jones, Isabel Steven, Courtney Hoffman (Second Team)

Varsity Boys Soccer: Matt O’Donnell, Michael Covington, Mitchell Perry, FitzHugh Johnson (Honorable Mention), AJ Topps (Honorable Mention)

Varsity Girls Tennis: Anne Douglas Goforth (Player of the Year), Mary Gray Johnson, Emma Vance, Samantha King (Honorable Mention)

The following athletes received school awards:

Varsity Field Hockey: Mary Rose Hazel (MVP), Simone Wicker (Coaches’ Award), Meghan Norair (Most Improved)

JV Field Hockey: Elle Hayes (Defensive MVP), Katy Butler (Offensive MVP), Sara D’Addio (Coaches’ Award)

Varsity Boys Soccer: Matt O’Donnell (MVP), Nate McDermott (Most Improved), Kobe Daniels (Most Improved)

Varsity Girls Tennis: Mary Gray Johnson (MVP), Anne Douglas Goforth (MVP), Jenna LeMay (Most Improved)

JV Girls Tennis: Lucy Castles (MVP), Anna Bacon (Coaches’ Award), Christina Reese (Most Improved)
